Hey guys. It's Randy here at etrailer.com. Today we're doing a demo on the Rhino Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars. These are aluminum aero-shaped crossbar, of course they're designed to work with your Rhino Rack fit kit or leg kit, those are going to be sold separate.As you can see here, this is going to give us a spot on our roof to clear up a lot of space inside our vehicle. We've got a bike rack attached here, simply comes down, straps right around it. Gives us a excellent way to get that transported if we don't want something hanging off the back of our vehicle or if we don't want to take the whole thing apart and try to shove it inside.The aluminum crossbars are going to be lightweight and they're going to be very corrosion resistant, we're not going to have to worry about any kind of corrosion and eventually it dripping down on our vehicle.Now these crossbars are available in several different lengths, so depending on smaller vehicle, larger vehicle, we're going to have the right crossbar to match up with your vehicle. more
Rhino Rack Roof Rack Review - 2016 Acura MDX- Video
Today on our 2016 Acura MDX we'll be doing a test fit of the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbar System, using part numbers RRVA137B-2 for the 54" Black Aluminum Crossbars, and then part number RRRLKVA for the 2500 Series Leg Kits, and then part number DK400 for the clamps and the pads. We've already got the front one installed as you can see here. We followed our instructions, we came from the door jam over to the center, we measured out the distance and how far we're supposed to be for our legs underneath the bars, and then we tightened everything up, and we got it. So let's go ahead and do the rear one together. First thing we'll do is we'll grab the leg first, and then our pad. We want to make sure that the arrow is pointing out, so away, and then we're going to push that on the bottom. Make sure that it seats all the way around. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Roof Rack System on our 2022 Chevy Colorado. Adding a roof rack to the roof of your Colorado is gonna help solve the issue of having limited cargo space in comparison to other trucks. So this is gonna allow you to use that negative space to get your items out on the road with you for your journey, kind of like this Yakima SkinnyWarrior Roof Rack. Taking a closer look at our roof rack, you can see that our crossbars, they're gonna go across and they're 48 inches wide. As far as the clearance your tower gives you, there's plenty of space to get your accessories looped underneath and you have just enough room on the end if you want to add like a loop or a tie down to your T-track. As far as your T-track, it's seven-eighths-inches wide, and you can cut and trim the arrow material that's at the top to fit for those items that you may wanna put in your track. more

Hey everyone, Charles here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at the Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars with the 2500 Series Towers and a Custom Fit Kit on our 2020 Chevrolet Equinox. This roof rack is a great solution since we don't have a hitch or any raised rails to transport our extra gear, freeing up space in our vehicle. Rhino-Rack designed these bars to be aerodynamic, and that is partially due to its shape as well as the vortex strips here. They have the rubberized grooves here that allow for reduced wind drag and wind noise as well. They can carry up to 165 pounds, so just check with your vehicle's specification to make sure you can carry the extra weight. Finally, these bars have a carrying capacity of 165 lbs, although you always want to double check with your vehicle's manual to make sure it can withstand those weights. As you can see we have the front one already installed, let's go ahead and show you have the rear one goes on. Once you get the kit, here's what you're pretty much going to get with it, with the exception of the roll tape here. You're going to get the two measuring strips, the legs, the foot pads, the hooks, and the covers that will actually lock up the legs once you have them installed. We have the left one installed, let's go head and move on to the other. I'll flip this around for you. Go head and take our leg here, line it up with the track, slide it in. more
Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Roof Rack Review - 2006 Ford F-150- Video
Today on our 2006 Ford F150 we'll be test fitting the Rhino Rack Vortex Roof Rack System using part numbers RRVA150B-2, RRRLKVA, and DK150. We'll begin our test fit by placing the front crossbar onto the front of our roof. We'll then need to measure two hundred and eighty millimeters from the center of the door jamb to the center of our foot pack. We'll need to make this measurement on both the passenger and driver's side of the vehicle to ensure the front crossbar is perpendicular to the roof and the pads contour to the roof line correctly. With the bar in position we then need to pull back some of the weather stripping to insert the clip in between the weather stripping and the seam of our door. Once this is done we'll use the included tightening tool to tighten down the black bolt, tightening down each side a little bit at a time, just to make sure the bar stays centered. Once everything is all tightened down and secure we can place our rear bar onto the rear of our roof and measure the crossbar spread. more
