This is going to make it very easy for you to get your REDARC Tow-Pro Elite or Liberty electric brake controller installed on your 2020 and newer Jeep Gladiator or your 2018 and newer Jeep Wrangler with the factory tow package. So this is a very, very simple installation. This end is going to plug right into your Tow-Pro electric brake controller, and then this other end is going to plug into the towing package electric trailer brake controller connector port, which is located beneath your vehicle's dash, left of your steering wheel and near your e-brake. more
Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller Installation - 2016 BMW X5- Video
Hi there BMW owners, today in your 2016 BMW X5 we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install Redarc's trailer brake controller. In addition to that, we're also going to be using Roadmaster's universal stoplight switch to get this installed. Blue is gonna indicate that we're in the proportional mode but there's also a user control mode available which makes it act more similar to like a time delay module. The user control mode is mainly for when you're off road because if you're in some slick muddy conditions when you hit the brakes in your vehicle and you start to slide the inertia sensor may not detect that you're stopping 'cause you're still going forward not really slowing down so it won't even attempt to apply your trailer brakes. In user control, it is going to apply those brakes regardless 'cause it's not working off proportional mechanism so it can help you stop in those slicker conditions like that. The knob does let you adjust the output of the unit from zero to 10, with 10 being the maximum brake output and you can also press down on the button to activate it just like you would the manual slide on any other brake controller. more

So right off the bat, I will say, I am a really big fan of the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite, and that's really due to the size of it. And it's very small, and with this model, compared to some of the older versions, they made it even smaller. Oftentimes, getting in and out, you bang your knee on it. Today on our 2007 Chevrolet Silverado we're going to be taking a look at and showing you how to install the red arc tow pro elite proportional trailer brake controller for one to three axles, now to help us in our installation, We're going to be using the universal mounting panel for our red arc tow pro brake controller, remote head. And that's going to be part number 331-TPSI-001 So here's where our tow pro elite brake controller looks like once we have it installed it's going to be an extremely compact unit. And all we're going to see is the knob with the led light right here. This is going to be a great solution to the traditional style brake controller which typically do take up a decent amount of space and they do get kind of cumbersome where they may interfere with your legs while you're driving. Now, you'll notice that we have a blue led indicator light that's on right by our knob. And that's going to let us know that our trailer is connected but when we don't have a trailer connected there's not going to be a light on at all. more

Now the biggest reason why a lot of people like the Redarc Tow Pro Elite brake controller is because of exactly what you see now. There's not much to it. You just have the control knob here and then the module itself, the brake controller will be mounted back underneath your dash wherever you find it fits best. It's better than a traditional style brake controller in my opinion because especially in the Bronco Sport you don't have room for that big box that you have to mount in a certain orientation in order for it to work properly. more

Hey guys, how's it going Conner here today at etrailer.com we're gonna be taking a look at the REDARC Tow Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller here for our 2013 Ford Explorer. The REDARC Tow Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller is gonna be an excellent option here for our Ford Explorer. Number one benefits we have of the REDARC Tow Pro Elite is we don't have to have some sort of bulky brake controller mounted during the knee of our dash, like we would for the standard brake controller like we see here. Now, if we we're to mount this here it's obviously gonna cut some leg room away, whereas the Tow Pro Elite it's gonna be composed of two components, we have the control knob which is a very small cylinder knob here which is the only part that's gonna be installed on the outside of our dash here. The other part is a control module, that's gonna be installed behind our dash out of sight. So our Tow Pro Elite Brake Controller is gonna be an excellent option, not only in regards to mounting but also in regards to functionality. more

Hi there, GMC owners. Today on your 2015 GMC Yukon, we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install REDARC's Tow-Pro Elite trailer brake controller. To assist us with this installation, we're also going to be using the REDARC plug-in play cable that is custom fit for our Yukon and that will plug directly into the factory connector down below. This is this designed for trailers up to three axles. So you get more output on this one than you do with like the Tow Pro Liberty. All right, so we can see here on our adjustment knob, you get between zero and the 10 and it lights up red when we've got it at 10 with our manual slide. more
