So you're using a negative space on top of your bed with your ladder racks to get those bigger, bulkier items out on the road with you. What's special about the Skinny Warrior is the fact that it's more narrow so it doesn't take up the entire space of your crossbars. WeatherTech Cargo Liner Review - 2022 Chevrolet Equinox - WT401018- Video
Hey, how's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the WeatherTech Cargo Liner on our 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. So adding a cargo liner or some type of protector to your cargo area is gonna help keep those dirtier items contained to a mat where it's a lot easier to clean, versus risking staining the interior of your carpet. So with the WeatherTech Liner, it is actually measured to fit the insides of your cargo area almost precisely. I've read a few reviews from our neighbors and some people don't like the fact that it does not cover the spaces on the inside here, but your trade off is the fact that you have this nice lip, that'll still contain any liquid spills. So that makes it a lot easier. As far as the dimensions on the mat itself, I'm right at 35. more

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Inno Tire Hold HD bike carrier on our 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. So the Tire Hold is like the name implies a wheel mounted bike carrier that holds your bike by the tires. If you have a specialty bike, a bike with a carbon fiber frame or something you just didn't want any contact to your top tube, this is gonna be a great way to secure your bike to the back of your Equinox. One of the things that I think that is kind of limiting on this one is the tilt that it has or lack thereof. You're just gonna pull your latch and this is how much tilt you have. So you won't have enough space to actually open the hatch and get to your cargo area, but you definitely make contact to with your handlebars to the back of your, you know, your back door here. more

So as you can see, the StageTwo is a wheel-mounted bike carrier, meaning that it's gonna secure your bike using a front hook and a rear strap cradle. This is gonna work for those bikes that have carbon fiber frames, step-through bikes, or if you just have a bike where you don't want any contact to the paint on the top tube. This is gonna work really well for that, 'cause it's gonna give you that extra adjustability to use just about any style bike. As far as on the back of the Equinox, you do have a tilt feature that's gonna allow you to access your cargo area. When you're tilting over, you wanna be cautious if you're maxing out on the capacity, 'cause you're right at 70 pounds per bike on the back of the Equinox. more

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Carrier on our 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. The NV 2.0 is a wheel mounted bike carrier, meaning that it has a hook that secures your bike on the front and a strap that secures your rear tire so you don't have any contact on the frame of your bike. A lot of frame mounted carriers are gonna have a hook that goes down on your top tube, and this is gonna prevent that contact if you have a carbon fiber bike or an unconventional bike, like a step through bike. On the back of the Equinox, you can see that it comes in handy to have that tilt feature. If you need to actually get to your cargo area, you just press down the lever and you can open the back quite easily with the mountain bike that I have loaded here. If you have wider handle bars, it may be a concern, but you know, overall I think you have a pretty good amount of space to get to your cargo area. more

The e-bike carrier here, the Destination E is actually a frame-mounted bike carrier. So that's gonna make its contact points right here on your top tube and your front and rear wheel using the cradle system. The thing that's special about the Destination E is the way that the mast is shaped. So it's gonna accommodate a wide variety of different bike styles. So if you have a step through bike or a e-bike that has a different angle to cross tube or even a woman's bike, you'd be able to actually make that contact by sliding the clamp over on the frame where you can. more

So if you have a carbon fiber bike or a bike with a nice paint job or even a unconventional frame style, like a step through, it may not be the best option. If that's not a concern for you, it'll work pretty well on the back of your vehicle. On the rear of the Equinox, once you have your bikes loaded up, you will not be able to tilt this carrier. So that is something that's kind of a shortcoming of the dispatch. more

Only thing that I have encountered, sometimes if you have fenders that stick out a bit, this isn't necessarily gonna be the best option for you. But on the case of this mountain bike right here, you can see that it works well. more

Thule Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2022 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Thule Epos Bike Carrier on our 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. So our bike carrier here is actually kind of unique versus a lot of other types, whereas it is a frame mount and it can also be a wheel-mounted carrier, so that's gonna allow you to get two different types of bikes out on the road. So if you have a carbon fiber bike, a step-through bike, something like that, you can actually adjust your arm to attach to your rear wheel, or if you have a bike where you don't mind that contact on the top tube, then it works out fine, kinda like our e-bike here. Our capacity is sitting here right at 75 pounds for a single bike or 70 pounds for two bikes. So that gives you a lot of flexibility as far as how much you can carry along with you, and let's take a look at how it works with the Equinox. We're gonna push down on our pedal here and activate our tilt feature. more

Now, this is going to be a great way to carry some extra stuff with you when you're going on your trips, especially if you've got that third row of seats up, cargo space in the back is quite limited, and with this being a smaller carrier, it is still gonna be quite capable. It's got a 500 pound weight capacity and steel construction, so plenty strong. And the biggest thing to watch out for is the dimensions. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Flint Hill Goods Hitch-Mounted Aluminum Cargo Carrier and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2024 Chevrolet Traverse Limited. Now the cargo carrier is gonna be a great way to carry extra stuff with you, especially in our Traverse, if you've got that third row seats up, cargo space is limited. So if you're going on a trip with some people, you gotta put the stuff somewhere. And for me, the hitch is one of the best places you can put it because you've got a good weight capacity and a good amount of space. To be more specific with that space, our usable dimensions, front to back, are 20 1/2 inches, and from side to side, we're working with 47 1/2 inches. more

Hi everyone. Aiden here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the REESE hitch mounted cargo carrier, and seeing how it fits on the back of our 2024 Chevrolet Traverse Limited. Now, a cargo carrier is a great way to get some extra stuff with you on either a road trip, or just carry some messy stuff with you that you don't wanna put in your vehicle, say, trips to the hardware store, bags of mulch, concrete, soil, things that tend to rip and make a mess, you can keep it out here. I know my father-in-law personally uses his a lot for stuff like that, because it's a lot easier to clean this off with the hose than it is to vacuum out the carpet in your vehicle. But this option from REESE is going to be a pretty good entry-level choice, because there's not a whole lot to it, but it does offer you a good amount of space. more

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Westin Truck Bed Mat on our 2022 Chevy Colorado. Adding a truck bed mat to the back of your vehicle is gonna allow you to have additional measure of protection against scratches and dents and dings, especially this guy with it being so thick. Generally speaking, if you're gonna use your truck bed as a truck bed, it's a great measure and a great way to keep things nice and secure when you're going down the road, 'cause it gives you additional traction on the bottom and keep a lot of that dirt and grime directly off the paint of your bed. So, taking a closer look at what makes this one unique is the fact that it is a custom fit mat. So it's going to be designed to fit your six foot bed and fit right in to the details in the grooves of the bed, like around your wheel wells and everything else as far as the contours. So underneath your mat, you actually have these three spot dots that are gonna actually give you additional traction and grip on the top of your bed, while still giving you a nice channel underneath for moisture and water to flow out and without having a pool underneath the mat. more

Adding towing mirrors to your truck is gonna allow you to get additional visibility and increase your safety when you're going down the road. The Longview, they actually just snap and hook onto the side of your mirror, and it's gonna basically give you a good amount of space to increase your visibility. Now, what you're adding to your mirror, you're right about a foot overall. As far as the mirror surface itself, you're right little bit over 5 1/2 inches wide. Overall, what you're adding to the vehicle, well, to the mirror, you're right here at the top, about 11 and a half inches. Overall, a little bit shorter, 13. You're right at about a little over 22 inches as far as your width, and your length is right at 55 as far as the usable space in your basket, and a little bit over five inches as far as the height of the bar. more

This is gonna be an open-design platform rack that we will take a look at here on our 2023 Chevrolet Equinox. The Kuat Transfer is gonna be the entry-level rack in the Kuat line where you don't pay as much as you would for a Sherpa or an NV, but you still get these solid Kuat features. One of those features is tilting away. So if you want something that makes it slightly a bit easier to tilt away, then if you have just one bike loaded, like what we have here, you can actually step into the rack, step on this lever, and then drop your bike rack down to a tilt. more

Titan Chain Tire Chains Review - 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500- Video
Hey everyone, it's Evangeline and today we're gonna be taking a look at the Titan Chain Diamond HD snow tire chains and I'll also show you how to install them here on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. These tire chains are gonna be the heavy duty version of the Titan Chain diamond alloy snow chains. So that means they're gonna have larger links for more traction, which is awesome, except you do have to be very careful about which type of tire and wheel you have on your Silverado 2500 because there are brake components and suspension components back there that may not give you much clearance to work with. So double check yours. Our tire size today is 275/65 R20, which is the one with limited clearance, but it also depends on the truck. So if you have a different tire size, you may have better chances with those. more

Titan Chain Tire Chains Review - 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 TC2335- Video
Hi everyone, it's Evangeline, and today we're gonna be taking a look at how to install as well as discuss the different features of this Titan Chain Diamond Snow Tire Chains. We're gonna see how it fits here on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. This is probably gonna be one of my favorite chains to recommend because it's very easy to install, as well as it has some solid features there that give you great traction in snowy conditions. Now, double check your tire size though, on your Silverado, just because we have higher size 275/65R20, and according to the owner's manual, this has limited wheel clearance, behind the tire, so you do have to get or be very intentional about what type of traction devices you use. If you do have to use tire chains, install them on that rear axle, these are gonna be very small chain sizes, which is why I feel a bit more comfortable with recommending them. But also for emergency situations, some places require that you have chains in your truck and these are gonna be very fast to put on, which is why I also recommend them. more

Titan Chain Tire Chains Review - 2023 Chevrolet Blazer- Video
Hi, Matt with Etrailer, and today when we talk about the Titan Chain's assisted tire chains on our 2023 Chevrolet Blazer, and today we're gonna have 'em on our front axle as per what the manual recommends, and our tire size is gonna be 235, 65, R18. Now, the first thing I'd recommend doing is when you do get your tire chains is just kinda laying them out, maybe in your garage or a flat surface, or something dry. You don't wanna learn how to put on tire chains when you're out on the side of the road, and there's a blizzard coming by. That's gonna be not the best learning experience, and when you do have 'em out, just kind of check 'em over, make sure there's no damages to your links, and nothing's twisted up, and we wanna make sure this is in the right orientation, making sure these hooks are facing down on the ground. 'cause when we put 'em on here, they're gonna face up and away from our tires. You also wanna make sure this is facing the correct way, making sure that these yellow links are facing away from your vehicle, and this gray cord is facing towards your vehicle, and make sure this is kinda split down the center, so we can put it behind on either side. more

Swagman Hitch Bike Racks Review - 2021 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the Swagman XC2 two bike rack and seeing how it fits on the back of this 2021 Chevrolet Equinox. Now the XC2 is gonna be a platform style bike rack holding the bike in these wheel hoops at the bottom and primarily keeping it still with our frame hook up top. That's going to press the bike down into those wheel hoops and keep it secure. Now this is going to be able to handle 35 pounds per bike and because it makes the contact of the frame it isn't the best fit for carbon frame bikes and for alternative frame bikes you're gonna need a bike adapter bar because this hook needs somewhere relatively flat to grab onto to get a good hold on the bike. more

Hey, everyone, it's Evangeline right here at etrailer, and today we have the Rhino-Rack Sunseeker Awning, and we'll take a look at how it fits our 2017 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. The Sunseeker is gonna be the easier-style awning. If you want something that's quick and easy to set up where it doesn't take multiple people holding down the stakes and poles, that's where the square awning like this can come in handy. And here on our Silverado, we have it on our camper shell with the crossbars, and that's actually a really nice setup because we're able to maximize our awning and get as much shade as we can without spending as much effort to get that shade set up. So quick look at how this fits on our truck. The distance from our tire to the end of the awning, that's gonna be 80 inches of shade we're going to get. more
