Hello, neighbors, it's Brad here at etrailer, and today we're taking a look at installing the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 rear air helper bags on a 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Today's trucks seem like comfort seems to take over the role instead of to towing capacity when it comes to suspension, and that's 'cause a lot of people daily drive their trucks. But if you're doing truck things, like pulling a trailer or putting a payload in your truck, that's when you really start to notice that suspension, you can handle it, but it does want to sag quite a bit. A lot of that just comes down to the factory jounce bumpers being really short. So these normally bolts up on the frame, and the jounce strike plate is down here. So that leaves a huge gap for these to compress before bottoming out. more

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the JetStream Roof Rack System on our 2023 Chevrolet Silverado. Adding a roof rack to the top of your Silverado is gonna help solve the issue of getting those bigger bulkier items on the road with you without taking up space inside the vehicle or in the bed. When you add a roof rack system like this guy right here, it allows you to use roof baskets, roof cargo carriers, or kayak or bike carriers. You open up your options using this negative space on top of your truck. The JetStreams are an aero style crossbar, so it's very similar to an airplane's wing and what that does for you, it helps reduce the wind noise you experience. On the top, you can see that you also have a rubber strip that's gonna allow you to access your T track channel where you can plug in your accessories, tighten them down without having to trim to size. more

Right off the bat, I do want to address one of the main questions that we get asked all the time in regards to setting up your vehicle to be flat towed. And that's, "What are the main parts that I'm gonna need" And you're gonna have a total of five of 'em, your base plate, which connects to your vehicle and gives you an attachment point. That way you can hook up your tow bar to, which will connect here and then to the back of your coach, being the physical link, keeping everything paired together. more

How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the Thule TracRac TracOne Ladder Rack on our 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Adding a ladder rack to the back of your vehicle helps solve the issue of increasing your cargo space but not taking up all the room in your bed. So it takes advantage of that negative space above your bed and cab. So you can get those longer items like lumber, PVC pipe or ladders on the road with you or even out for fun times you can get your kayaks, your bicycles and basically any rooftop accessory. Starting at the top of our track rack system you're gonna have load stops that are gonna be adjustable, that you can use as tie downs, as well as ways to, you know, keep things from shifting as you're going on the road. And this is gonna be set up for those of you that have the OEM prep package installed in your truck, which a lot of 'em out on the road are set up that way. And it's pretty convenient because those prep packages, you can take this 5th wheel hitch, drop it right into it, lock it down, and that's it, right So super easy to get set up and everything like that. And if you're familiar at all with the towing world, especially more heavy duty towing, chances are pretty good, you've probably heard of the B&W name and there's a reason for it because the stuff that they make is awesome. How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Yakima Overhaul HD Ladder Rack on our 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. So we're gonna take a look at the Overhaul HD on the back of the Silverado. As you can see with this configuration, I have it with the 68-inch bars that basically have no hangover to the side of the bed, but still maintain these tie-down points. Your adjustability with the Overhaul is going to allow you to go between 18 and 30 inches above the rails on the bed. So that's gonna give you plenty adjustability for things underneath the bars themselves to take advantage of the bed. Having a roof rack system in general is gonna allow you to get these items like the Yakima SkinnyWarrior out on the road with you. more

Adding a rooftop basket to your Equinox is gonna help solve the issue that you're probably aware of as an Equinox owner of having limited cargo space. So having something like the Inno Aero system is gonna allow you to take advantage of that negative space on top of your vehicle to get those bigger, bulkier items out on the road with you. So for example, I have our Inno ski carrier on top with the snowboard on it, but you can also add rooftop baskets, enclosed rooftop boxes, tents, you're just limited to what the capacity of your roof and your bars are. So let's take a closer look at the aero bars and get into some of the details. So our crossbars are aero shape, so it's similar to an airplane's wing, so it's gonna cut through the air better and that's gonna reduce the wind noise that rooftop racks are notorious for. more

How's it going, neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Saris SuperClamp EX on our 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. A wheel-mounted bike carrier is gonna come in handy for you when you're looking for something that's not gonna make any contact with your frame. So there's no hook here on your top tube. You're just gonna have a hook on the front and rear that's gonna allow you to carry those carbon fiber bikes, bike that you just have a nice paint job and you don't want a contact to, or those unconventional frame bikes, like a step-through bike, for example. Another really cool feature, it's gonna allow you to have access to your cargo area. Yeah, kind of, I didn't want the push, but it's actually a lever that you pull, and it gives you a pretty decent tilt that's gonna allow you to get the hatch all the way open so you can get to the back of your Equinox pretty well. more

Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Rack Installation - 2022 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Kuat NV 2.0 Bike Carrier on our 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. The NV 2.0 is a wheel-mounted bike carrier. So what that means is that the main support for the bike is gonna be this hook on the front wheel, and you have a strap on the rear cradle. That's gonna allow you to secure your bike without having any contact to the top tube. Essentially what that's gonna work best for is gonna be bikes that have carbon fiber frames or unconventional frames like step-through bikes. I'm gonna push the lever in here, and we're gonna tilt our carrier to check out the access to our cargo hatch with our bikes loaded. more

Hi everyone, it's Evangeline right here at etrailer. Today we are going to take a look at and I'll also show you how to install the etrailer soft tonneau cover here on our 2023 Chevrolet Silverado 1500. Whenever any of my friends are looking into getting a tonneau cover, this is gonna be the first one that I would recommend just as an entry level starting point, because the first thing they want to do is just cover the interior of their bed. If you don't need to get too fancy, you want something that's solid, offers awesome protection, this is the way to go. It is gonna be a bit more affordable compared to other tonneau cover options, but just because it is affordable doesn't mean it lacks in features. The main part to a soft tonneau cover is that it won't take up much space on your truck bed. more

Adding a rooftop basket to your ladder rack or roof of your vehicle is gonna help solve the issue of getting additional cargo space without using any existing area. So you're using a negative space on top of your bed with your ladder racks to get those bigger, bulkier items out on the road with you. What's special about the Skinny Warrior is the fact that it's more narrow so it doesn't take up the entire space of your crossbars. So you can add a kayak carrier, an enclosed rooftop box, or any rooftop accessory. Rhino-Rack ROC25 Naked Roof Roof Rack Kit Installation - 2022 Chevrolet Equinox- Video
How's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com, and we're taking a look at the Rhino-Rack ROC25 Roof Rack System on our 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. Your roof rack is actually supported by your Fit Kit inside of your door jamb and the foot on the bottom that makes the contour to your roof. So once those things are fastened down, it kind of clamps across the vehicle giving you stability to your crossbars. The crossbars themselves are made of extruded aluminum, and it has an H-shape on the inside. What that does for you just gives you a higher measure of stability and rigidity. As far as how it affects your vehicle, your height from the roof is right at three and a half inches, so that's gonna give you plenty of clearance to use with most rooftop basket accessories. more

You know, as an Equinox owner, you already know you are pretty compact as far as the space you have on the back, so this is gonna allow you to take advantage of that space on top of your roof. WeatherTech Cargo Liner Review - 2022 Chevrolet Equinox - WT401018- Video
Hey, how's it going neighbors This is Ed here with etrailer.com and we're taking a look at the WeatherTech Cargo Liner on our 2022 Chevrolet Equinox. So adding a cargo liner or some type of protector to your cargo area is gonna help keep those dirtier items contained to a mat where it's a lot easier to clean, versus risking staining the interior of your carpet. So with the WeatherTech Liner, it is actually measured to fit the insides of your cargo area almost precisely. I've read a few reviews from our neighbors and some people don't like the fact that it does not cover the spaces on the inside here, but your trade off is the fact that you have this nice lip, that'll still contain any liquid spills. So that makes it a lot easier. As far as the dimensions on the mat itself, I'm right at 35. more
