What's nice about this gooseneck hitch is that it is a turnover ball, meaning that this will flip over, and now you have full bed access again. It's all fairly flat to your bed. You can throw things in here when you're done using it. Another cool thing about this one in particular is it is compatible with the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Hitch. Hey there, neighbors. Kevin here with etrailer, and today we're gonna be taking a look at and showing you how to install the Curt EZr double-lock underbed gooseneck kit here on our 2022 Chevy Silverado 2500. So our neighbor came to us today because he owns a lawn care company and he needs to be able to haul some heavy-duty equipment on a gooseneck trailer, and it's not really easy to do that without a gooseneck hitch in the bed of your Silverado. So the Curt EZr double-lock gooseneck hitch was going to be the right option for him because it's a pretty simple install to get in there. Curt does a nice job of having all of the stuff kind of filter down to just a few different brackets, and makes it a little bit easier to get in here. Now, it's not your typical kind of gooseneck install compared to most because a lot of the time you start out just cutting out your hole, whereas this one you start at the bottom and drill your way up and then start cutting through the bed. more

Hi, I'm Danny with etrailer, and today I'm gonna show you how to install the center section for our B&W Turnoverball gooseneck hitch on our 2015 Chevy Silverado 2500. So do keep in mind this is just the center section. You will need the cross rails and side plates to complete the full kit. But if, say, this intersection is damaged, you can buy that separately and get it replaced. But also, it does not come with the hardware. So you will have to get that as well to replace it if you don't have existing hardware. more

As I said, this kit not only includes the amazing B&W Companion sliding fifth wheel, but it also comes with the ability to use the turnover ball gooseneck system. This is one of my favorite gooseneck systems because if you're not towing with it, you can still store the ball in the back of the truck by flipping it upside down, dropping it in the hole, and that gives you an entire use of your truck bed just as it came from the fact. As for the companion itself, it's one of the highest regarded sliding fifth wheels on the market. Now, if you got yourself a big truck and you didn't get it OEM-prepped, not to worry, you can still pull a gooseneck, but it is gonna require getting an underbed kit. And essentially, what that's gonna do is have two crossmembers that go from each frame rail and create a center section. And that way you're gonna have your ball as well as your safety chain hookups. And B&W is one of the names that really stands out in the leader of towing, whether it be fifth wheels, goosenecks, ball mounts, whatever it may be. Hi, Matt with Etrailer. Today we're gonna be talking about B&W's Companion 5th Wheel in our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. Now, we'll say this one's gonna be great if you have that gooseneck installed already by B&W, but the other half the time you need a fifth wheel, this is still gonna be compatible with that B&W gooseneck platform. Now, let's say you just got this truck and you need to pull a camper behind you, but you need a fifth wheel, but you have the gooseneck back here, this is still gonna be compatible with it. So that's another reason why someone might want to go with this instead is if it's already installed there, and it's just gonna be an easier installation rather than trying to remove that gooseneck and then make it compatible for a fifth wheel. And something else I wanted to point out is gonna be our bed length. more

Hi, everyone. Aiden here with etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at CURT's in-bed wiring harness on our 2024 Chevrolet Silverado 2500. If you're hauling a fifth wheel or a gooseneck trailer and you don't want to, or you're sick of draping your wiring over the bed and hooking up back by your hitch, then you can always leave it in the bed by getting a kit like this. It's gonna save your tailgate paint and just be a lot nicer looking and leave your wiring a little bit more protected when you're going down the road. This kit will come with everything you need, seven feet of wiring to go down to the bottom where our other wiring harness on our bumper is, the plug in line and it's gonna give us the plug up top here, which gives us our 7-pole hookup, as well as our 4-pole hookup. more

Adding air helper springs, like this, is really gonna improve the ride quality your truck, especially when you're towing or hauling heavy loads. If you've ever towed or hauled with your truck with just the factory suspension, you probably notice it sagging in the rear end quite a bit, and that's really gonna affect the ride quality. And also, believe it or not, it will affect the braking on the truck. 'Cause when that truck's sagging, you're taking weight off of the front wheels, which is where a lot of the braking from modern vehicles come from. more

Hi, everyone. Bruce here at etrailer. Today we are gonna install the PTC Custom Fit Engine Air Filter on our 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500. More times than not, your vehicle's computer is gonna tell you when the filter does need to be changed. This is my personal vehicle behind me and my computer has not told me I need to change it yet, but when your computer does say to change your air filter, it is highly recommended that you get it done as soon as possible because with a dirty air filter, what could happen is, one, the engine could run richer because your air filter's getting clogged. Plus, any dirt and debris that is getting past this could be going into your engine and creating less engine life. more

Does the backseat of your truck look like this We've got a storage solution for you, today we're gonna take a look at the DUHA underseat storage for our 2024 Chevy Silverado 2500. Now as you can see, we do have the box installed, and everything that you saw in the backseat floor earlier did fit in the box. Now I do carry a lot of gear, some of it's probably not needed, but it does all fit, and I can go ahead and lower the seats down without a problem. Now, taking a look how this box actually fits under the seat, as you see, I am sitting in the vehicle, and if you look down here, I just really like the way everything is contoured to the seats. As I'm even sitting in the vehicle, I don't even notice there's an under storage box in here. I lift up the seat, and it does give me access if somebody is in the backseat to grab anything out of this part that nobody's sitting at. more

If your truck didn't come equipped with a gooseneck set up from the factory, this is a good way to get it set up. This is gonna be a 7,500 pound weighed down on this hitch here. It's gonna be 30,000 pounds trailer weight, and that's your trailer and everything that you have in it. This is gonna be a pretty cool option 'cause with this setup here, you can take the ball out and actually store it in the hitch itself. So when you're not using it, you can just run your ball down in there and keep it with it. more

You may be thinking to yourself, "Well, why do I need that" A good reason to have that, if you are towing a fifth wheel or a gooseneck, is you can plug it right into the bed of your truck. That way, you don't have your wiring from your trailer hanging over the top of your tailgate, and it could be rubbing paint off as you're going down the road. And with it inside the bed of your truck, it's just gonna keep it nice and neat and keep the wires more protected. Now, this kit does come with seven foot of wiring, plus your seven-way plug, and a cover plate to cover up the factory hole that's cut out here. more

And the gross trailer weight rating is 30,000 pounds with a 7,500 pound tongue weight, which is your downforce on the ball when you do have your gooseneck hooked up. Hi, everyone, Bruce here at etrailer. Today we're gonna take a look at our Safe Load OEM Gooseneck Ball on our 2024 Chevy 2500. Now, this ball is a 2 5/16-inch ball. And the gross trailer weight is 30,000 pounds with a 7,500-pound max vertical weight, which is the push down on the ball. Now, if you do notice here, we do have a nice scale.
