How to Install a Wiring Harness for a Trailer on a 2007 Chevy Silverado


The 2007 Silverado body style as well as the 2008 styles have a place on the bumper where the plug can be mounted. We remove the cover here to give us the hole to mount the plug into place. Once we've removed the knockout from the bumper area we'll place the harness into position. We're going to have to drill holes out to mount this into place.
