Review of TempMinder RV Electronics MRI-211MX

Today we're going to take a look at the TempMinder blue backlight LCD wireless weather center. This easy-to-read LCD display has a nice ultra blue LED backlight. Just push the button there, you can see the light comes on. This will measure indoor temperatures, outdoor temperatures, and even humidity, and you can select between Celsius and Fahrenheit. The outdoor temperature range is negative 22 degrees Fahrenheit up to 140 Fahrenheit. This will also give you an electronic weather forecast up at the top here, 12 to 24 hours in advance.

Helps you store minimum and maximum temperature and humidity, and even has high and low temperature alerts. The clock is a 12 to 24 hour alarm clock setting with alarm and snooze, and it'll even display the month, the date, and the day of the week in seven languages. It does use backup battery power right down here. It uses three triple A batteries. Now, the batteries are not included.

For this video I've put three in there just to show you what the display looks like. Also has a little plug in right next to the battery cover, that's for an AC adapter that we do sell that separately on our website. The base of this is black in color. The remote transmitter you can see is white. You can receive remote temperature and humidity from up to three locations, and to do that you would have to supply two additional transmitters. They can be added, we do sell them separately on our website as part number RS-MX.

The one transmitter is included. The transmission distance on it is 210 feet. This transmitter does require two triple A batteries, and again they're not included. In the same way I've put two in there just to show you how the display works. The temperature range is negative 22 degrees Fahrenheit to 140 degrees Fahrenheit. Give you a few measurements on this, we'll start with the transmitter.

The width on it is right at 1 and 3/4 inches wide. The height on it, bottom to the very top, is 5 and 1/2 inches tall, and the depth, which would be the base, the very bottom of it, is right at 1 inch wide or deep. The base on this is going to be width, and I am going to measure, if you notice when you turn the lights on, has out here they have edges that line up. I include those, you're looking at right about 3 and 3/8 inches wide. The height on it from bottom to the very top is 6 and 7/8 inches tall, and the depth again which would be the bottom is going to be right at 1 and 3/4 inches dep. That should do it for the review on the TempMinder blue backlight LCD wireless weather center.
