Redarc RV Solar Panels - Roof Mounted Solar Kit - RED36VR Review

Hello everybody. This is Jeff at Today we can take a look at this Redarc, 80 watt monocrystalline solar panel. Now this is an 80 watt solar panel that will use the sunlight to charge your batteries. This is designed for fixed mount installation on RVs, vans, or anywhere else you'll need solar power. This panel is designed to work with the Redarc solar charge controllers, the Redarc dual input BCDC chargers, or the Redarc manager 30 - battery management system.

All of those items we do sell separately on our website. Now the model crystalline solar panels have the highest efficiency rates. Typically in the 15 to 20% range. And the high efficiency rate means that they produce more power per square foot, and they're therefore more space efficient. This one does use a nice tempered glass coating.

And if you look on the back, it has a nice aluminum frame that'll help withstand harsh road and weather conditions. And if we zoom in to show you the connectors here, it does use the MC4 connectors. Provide a nice, quick, easy setup, just a plug and play. Each cable length is 35 inches. Now this is manufactured to CE standards.

I do want to give you a few dimensions on this. If we do the length of this, is going to be right at 27 and a 1/2 inches long, the width is going to be right at 26 and a 1/4 inches. And the depth of this is only going to be right about 1 and 3/8 inches deep. Now, a few specs on this. The rated peak power is 80 Watts.

Maximum system voltage is 600 volts DC. Maximum power current is four amps. Maximum power voltage, 20 volts. Does have an operating temperature range of negative 40 degrees Fahrenheit to 185 degrees Fahrenheit. And the weight of this panel is only about 11 and a 1/2 pounds. That's not too bad. Now this is an 80 watt panel. We do also sell these in a 50 watt size, 120 watt, 180 watt and 200 watt panels. But again, just to show you the back, here's your junction box, your positive negative connectors, and you just plug it in and you're all ready to go. But that should do it for the review on the Redarc, 80 watt monocrystalline solar panel..
