What is the Weight Capacity for the Malone SlingTwo
Updated 07/12/2020 | Published 07/09/2020 >
Question:
Both the single and 2 kayak systems say the load capacity is 135 lbs. For the 2 kayak system is that per kayak or total? Also I would need to mount into concrete inside garage. Do you have hardware for that? If not what would you recommend.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The capacity of the Malone SlingTwo # MPG341 is 135-lbs total, or 67.5-lbs per kayak. This kit does come with hardware to be mounted into a wooden stud or board, but not concrete mounting. You would need to source hardware to mount this kit into concrete from your local home improvement store but some sort of concrete anchor would be what I recommend for this application.
