Question:
When we looked at the Honda there were no available hooks for a roof rack. Where do you mount the rails?

Expert Reply:
There are only roof racks confirmed to fit 2017 Honda Civic 4 door hatchback vehicles, so if you have a coupe, there is not a roof rack fit. Each of the roof racks fit in the door jambs using a vehicle specific fit kit with molded hooks.
I recommend the Thule roof rack consisting of the Thule WingBar Evo # TH711220, the Thule Rapid Evo Roof-Rack Foot Pack # TH710501 and the speacial custom hooks in the Thule Roof Rack Fit Kit # TH145043.
The crossbars are aerodynamic for less wind noise and mount to the towers that are connected to the roof with the fit kit custom clips shaped to fit your vehicle and protect its paint. I recommend using the Thule One-Key System Lock Cylinders - Qty 4 # TH450400 to secure the rack to your vehicle.
