Is Extended Hitch Adapter For 2014 Dodge Ram 2500 Towing 32 Ft Jayco Trailer
Updated 10/15/2014 | Published 10/14/2014 >
Question:
I have a 32foot Jayco Travel Trailer about 7800lbs DRY. I pull it with a 2014 Ram 2500 Cummings. I need a hitch extender so my tailgate can lower all the way while I am still hooked up 6-8inch would be plenty. I just want to make sure I buy an extender that can/will hold up the weight. Looking forward to your help. Thank you

Using a hitch extender will reduce the towing capacity of the hitch by 50 percent.
An extended ball mount kit we offer like part # EBMK2EL, has a towing weight capacity of 6,000 lbs.
We do not have an extended ball mount that would work for your 2014 Dodge 2500 and your 32 ft Jayco Trailer.
