Question:

I currently have a gorilla guard trailer coupler lock on a utility trailer that fits a little loose. I am in the process of purchasing a new travel trailer and was wondering what measurement determines if a should order a 2 or a 2-5/16 coupler lock.

The coupler size should match the ball size it is coupling to. If you have a ball with a 2 inch diameter then you would need a 2 inch coupler lock. If the ball is 2-5/16 inches in diameter you would need a 2-5/16 inch coupler lock.

For 2 inch we have the Trailer Coupler Lock - Gorilla Guard # 63228 that is featured in the video you cited.

For 2-5/16 inch we have the Trailer Coupler Lock - Gorilla Guard # 63227.
