Where Circuits Wire to the Wesbar Submersible Low Profile Trailer Tail Light # 403026
Published 10/07/2014 >
Question:
I am trying to rewire my trailer lights. I understand that the brown/green wire from the harness goes right and the brown/yellow goes to the left. When I get to black and red wires on each tail light which color goes to black and which to red? Thank you.

You are correct, the brown/green wire goes to the running light circuit of the taillight # 40306 that you install on the right side of the trailer and the brown/yellow wire from the trailer wiring goes to the running light circuit on the left side of the trailer. The running light circuit of the # 40306 is the brown wire. So both the above mentioned wires will connect to the brown wire.
The red wire is for the stop/turn function. Most likely this will be a solid green wire for the right hand side and a solid yellow wire for the left hand side.
The white wire is the ground circuit and would need to get run to a clean metal surface on the trailer.
I attached a review video for this light assembly plus an FAQ on trailer wiring for you to check out as well.
The right hand side version of this light is part # 106411.
