Whats the difference between this wiring and the other wiring available for the Camaro?

The Curt trailer wiring harness for your 2011 Chevy Camaro, # 56089, plugs in line with the vehicle tail light wiring and will be grounded using the separate white ground wire with the ring terminal on it. It does not have a converter or circuit protection.
The Hopkins # HM11141285 also plugs in line with the tail light wiring and has a separate ground wire.
