Expert Reply:
We do have trailer hitch that will fit your 2000 BMW 328i but # 24857 will not fit. If yours is a coupe, sedan, or wagon, excluding M series and convertibles, you can use # C11174.
If you plan on doing any towing the correct ball mount for either hitch is # C45510. For a 1-7/8 inch ball use # 19256 and for a 2 inch ball use # 19258. For trailer wiring you can use # C59236.
If you will be using the hitch for a bike rack or cargo carrier make sure that it is compatible with a Class I trailer hitch and for bike racks you are limited to 2 bikes using a Class I hitch. Curt also requires the use of stabilization strap # 18050 for non-trailer loads.
