Trailer Wiring Harness Recommendations for a 2013 Volkswagen Routan

I was wondering if there is actually something different between the 2012 routan and 2013 routans that this part isnt listed as a product for the 2013. I had purchased a no splice kit for a previous car and would really like to get one for the 2013 routan I have now. Any input on this would be great.

There is a strong chance that the part # 118490 that would normally fit a 2012 VW Routan would also fit your 2013. The reason it's not listed as a fit for your 2013 model is because the 2013 Routans were made in very limited numbers. Only 2,500 fleet Routans were made in 2013. What that means is that due to the rarity of the 2013 models Tow Ready never was able to get their hands on one to test.
So the only harness they list as a fit is a universal fit harness like part # C59236.
