Question About Warranty Issues with the Edge Evolution CTS Programmer On a 2009 Chevrolet Pickup

Question:
i was wondering if the juice chip for my 2009 silverado 1500 will mess with the warranty that chevy provides. i dont want it to void my warranty if i put the chip on my truck?

The Edge Evolution CTS Programmer - Color Touch Screen - Chevy/GMC V8, item # EP85250, will not void the warranty on your 2009 Chevrolet Pickup just because you installed and used it. There is a federal law that says that the vehicle manufacturer must provide warranty repair on the vehicle as long as the aftermarket programmer or other device is not the actual cause of the malfunction or breakdown. Page 7 of the Instructions (see link) goes into detail about this. Edge strongly recommends that you disconnect and remove the module/programmer and monitor when you take your vehicle to a dealer. Leaving the product connected may affect dealer diagnostic analysis. Edge makes every effort to produce product that can be easily removed.
