Will Reese Part# 37042 fits my Toyota T100? From the picture it looks very similar to what Reeses recommend. Please advise. Thank you.

Reese multi-fit trailer hitch 37042 was made obsolete on August 20, 2009. But when it was available it was not a fit for the 1998 Toyota T100 4x4. It did not fit any Toyota vehicles.
We have one hitch that will fit your truck, Draw-Tite hitch # 75144. It requires that the truck has the OEM factory bumper for installation. It is a Class III hitch rated for 500 pounds tongue weight and 5,000 pounds gross trailer weight.
To complete your towing set up I recommend etrailer ball mount kit # 989900. It includes 2 ball mounts, 2 balls, a hitch pin with clip, and a storage bag. And for trailer wiring you can use # 118496. I have linked the instructions for the hitch and wiring to the right for you.
