Question:
Two part question. I watched the video of this product on the 2500 silverado, and it looked like it moved fwd, and backwards as the guy pushed on it. Will it rattle when i Accelerate or stop. I have the exact same truck and year. Is the hitch gonna flop back and forth when towing? Also I have a 6in lift and 37in tires, would you recommend the 8in or 10in ?

Most ball mounts will move around in the receiver to some extent, some worse than others. The reason why is that no receiver tube measures a perfect 2 inches by 2 inches. As long as the dimension is within a certain degree over or under, it's considered to be within tolerance. The shank of the ball mount needs to be slightly under 2 inches by 2 inches in size, otherwise you wouldn't be able to slide it into the receiver. Long story short, if the hitch you have is toward the large end of tolerance and the shank of the ball mount is on the small end of tolerance, you'll get more wobble or rattle.
This being said, Diversi-Tech does offer some anti-rattle ball mounts, like part # DTSTBM7000. The ball mount features a stainless steel pin that extends from the top of the shank that wedges the shank against the inside of the receiver tube preventing the ball mount from moving around. I'll link you to a product demonstration video showing how the ball mount works.
To determine the amount of rise or in your case drop that's needed, you'll need to jack up your trailer so that's its level. Measure from the underside of the coupler to the ground. Then, measure the distance between the top inside edge of the receiver opening to the ground. The difference between the two measurements would be the amount of drop needed. I'll link you to an article showing exactly how to get these measurements.
