Roof Rack Recommendation for a 2006 Jeep Liberty Renegade

Hi, About the WB-s45. What is the maximum diameter rail that the end clamps will fit onto? My 06 jeep liberty renegade has the round/tubular factory railsdifferent from the liberty sport and liberty limited that are about 2inch in diameter. I want to make sure that the end clamps will fit my rails before I order them. I spoke with someone at Yakima a while back who said they dont have a whispbar crossbar that will fit the renegades 2inch diameter rails. This conflicts with the information provided in etrailers wb-s45 description. Thanks so much for you help,

I checked with Yakima and the Whispbar roof rack part # WB-S45 that you referenced is not the correct rack for your 2006 Jeep Liberty.
For a similar roof rack that is confirmed to fit your Renegade model 2006 Jeep Liberty you would want the Thule Aeroblade Edge Roof rack part number # TH7502-TH7503. I confirmed with Thule that this roof rack would work for your vehicle.
