Trailer Wiring Harness Availability for a 2008 Lexus RX400h

Question:
I have a 2008 Lexus RX400H with the factory trailer tow package. Apparently there is a wiring harness at the back of the vehicle where I can hook up another harness that will work for a trailer. It is supposedly a plug that plugs into the factory plug and that runs to a regular 4 in a row plug. From whaat I have heard there is no converter needed. It is just 2 different plugs and wire. Do you have this or are you aware of this? Thanks

Some vehicle manufacturers will run the tow package wiring on vehicles, but they will not include a trailer wiring harness if the vehicle is not ordered or purchased with the tow package. There is no aftermarket plug-in style trailer wiring harness for the 2008 Lexus RX400h. This may be a dealer only item if it exists. At this time, the only aftermarket wiring harnesses available for your vehicle are hard wire kits with a powered converter like part # 119250KIT.
If you would prefer a plug-in style kit, your best option is to contact your local Lexus dealer with your VIN and they can tell you if they have something available. If they do not have a plug-in style harness available, then our Tekonsha ZCI Circuit Protected # 119250KIT, would be your next best option.
Most local auto shops or dealers will typically install this wiring harness for a nominal fee.
