Could CVT Timber Creek Annex Car Tent Be Used without Vehicle
Updated 07/22/2026 | Published 07/18/2026 >
Question:
I have a Subaru Forester and Im sure it will fit. I realize it is not a stand-alone tent, but can the vehicle opening be rolled together and clamped shut so I can temporarily use the car? Kinda like a foil packet when grilling :

Hey Susan, yes the CVT Timber Creek Annex for Car Camping # RG35ZV does fit your Subaru Forester but generally there isn't a good way to detach a vehicle from the tent and drive away and have the tent standing on it's own very well to the point it would be usable. The awning needs the vehicle for support so without the vehicle the awning and top of tent would be largely unsupported.
