Can TracRac CapRac Ladder Rack # TH29200XT be Removed for Clearance and Leave Swivel Brackets

Question:
Is it possible to remove the rails and the risers, but leave the mounting brackets in place? From the photo it looks like there are a couple of nuts on bolts that fit in a track. My concern is that, with the rack on, my truck will not fit under the header for my garage door I have about 3inch of clearance with just the shell. If I can strip the racks down to just the mounting brackets w/out the risers or bars, I can put my truck in the garage for the winter.

Yes, all other components for the TracRac CapRac Ladder Rack, # TH29200XT, can be removed while leaving the swivel brackets in place. I have included a snapshot of the installation guide to show how the rack corner attaches to the swivel bracket. All you will need is a wrench to remove the rack corners and your truck can make it's way to the garage for the winter.
