Hi Joana,

It looks like we don't offer a 2" trailer hitch for your 2017 Honda Civic hatchback, only a class I 1 1/4" hitch. What you can do to get a 2" hitch receiver is install the 1 1/4" trailer hitch and then use a hitch adapter to adapt the 1 1/4" to 2". I suggest using the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver Class I part # C11463 because it doesn't require trimming the metal bumper during installation, only the heat shield will need to be trimmed and some drilling in the frame will be required. Then I recommend using the etrailer Trailer Hitch adapter for 1 1/4" to 2" hitch part # e93YR. This adapter will convert the hitch to a 2" hitch receiver and also has a 5" rise, so whatever accessory you're wanting to use in the hitch will be raised a bit higher from the ground to prevent contact. Using a hitch adapter does reduce your tongue weight of the hitch by 50%, since the hitch is rated for 200lbs of tongue weight this would be reduced to 100lbs.
