Question:
I camp at a lot of state parks where the tongue jack ends up on gravel or soft spots or even uneven spots.. I’d like something with better footing than a little metal plate mine came with. Which one has the biggest base?

Hey Gary! For a bigger and more secure jack footprint, I’d go with one of the SnapPad versions of our etrailer branded jacks. If you want a side-mount swivel jack that bolts to the side of the trailer tongue frame, choose the etrailer Sidewind Trailer Jack with SnapPad - Swivel Bolt - 2K # e86AV. If you want to keep the jack in the standard A-frame location, choose the A-frame # e38AV.
Both use a 6" round jack foot with a heavy duty rubber SnapPad that increases the base to about 7-3/4" diameter, which helps spread the load out on gravel, grass, or dirt. If ground clearance while towing matters, # e86AV has the edge because it swivels up along the frame. What style jack mount does your trailer have now, Gary?
