Question:
I currently have the older fork mounted bike rack prologue 515 and was wondering if I had any options for a longer rear tire strap? It’s set up with the OEM 753 3001 strap but it’s not long enough to accommodate my wider MTB tires. Is there anything compatible with? Thank you.

Great question James and thanks for reaching out!
The Thule straps that are available aren’t designed for the Prologue 515. That's because of the way your rack mounts the strap, most longer options won’t fit without modification.
We haven't been able to confirm but the suggested work around would be adding a small extension loop or cam strap. It gives you the extra length you need without modifying the Prologue’s mounting system.
If you decide on upgrading your bike rack, I'd take a look at the T2 Pro XTR supports up to 60 lbs per bike. Deep cradles and extra-long 18" wheel straps to secure fat tires up to 5.0" wide, while sliding trays adjust for different wheelbases up to 50-1/2".
Where do you typically ride; local trails, bike parks?
