Question:
I currently have a T1602 1996 winch on my EZLoader trailer. The teeth on the pinion and the drum are shot. Which would be the best replacement winch you would recommend?

Expert Reply:
Fulton no longer makes the T1602 winch, it's been replaced by the F2, part # FW16000101. If you're happy with the way your old one performed, it would be good replacement. If you wanted to go up to an 1800 lb capacity, you could use the Fulton # F142306 that you referenced. Choosing a winch with capacity to spare is never a bad idea.
