Hey Richard, welcome back! Assuming you have the brake controller port the Prodigy P2 # TK69UR comes with everything you need for installation. However, we don't know when this will be back in stock. Tekonsha is currently for sale after the parent company went bankrupt so they aren't sending out parts right now.
For a reliable alternative I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Liberty Brake Controller # RED26CR. This brake controller is easy to use and won't take up space in the cab of your truck. It also includes a custom wiring harness for a plug and play installation.
What will you be towing with your Silverado?

We are towing a couple of 16" utility trailers between 3 trucks. All are Chevrolet with the 2017 being the latest addition. Our other trucks have Techonsha controllers which have proven to be excellent for our needs, so we want to stay with the proven brand. I did wonder why you guys have been pushing Redarc and Curt brands, now I know. It is a shame most of the good things are going by the wayside, especially the more cost effective options. Thank for the information I guess we will look elsewhere since you seem to be out of Techonsha controllers. IOHO Redarc and Curt are a bit pricey. Thanks anyway, Richard
