The Thule Hull-A-Port kayak carrier # TH834 is a fit for your 2012 Nissan Rogue with factory crossbars. This carrier uses a bottom plate under the crossbars that attach to the rest of the carrier sitting on top of the crossbars and everything is held there with bolts and knobs. It will install the same way on your Rogue as in the video I have linked for you.
