Hello Tom,
Yes, the Meyer WingMan snowplow is considered a complete plow package. It includes the plow itself, the hydraulic lift and angle system, LED plow lights, and a wired in-cab controller. You are not missing any major plow components right out of the box.
There are a couple vehicle-side items you may still need. The WingMan mounts into a front-mounted 2" Class III receiver hitch, and that hitch is not included with the plow. If your 2018 4x4 5.3L truck does not already have a front receiver, the Curt Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - 2" # C31069 is a great option. Tech tips include drilling through the vehicle frame for installation, and trimming of the front air dam and or fascia may be required.
You will also need a 4-pin wiring connection at the front of the truck. Many people already have a 4-pin at the rear, so the most common solution is running an extension from the back up to the front, like # HM48235. No special or proprietary wiring kit is required beyond that.
As far as drilling goes, the plow itself does not require any drilling. It simply slides into the front receiver and pins into place. Any drilling would only be related to installing the front hitch, and that depends on which hitch you choose.
Install time is very reasonable. Plan on about 1 to 2 hours to install the front hitch, and another 2 to 3 hours to route the wiring and mount the controller cleanly inside the cab. Once everything is set up, putting the plow on and taking it off is quick and straightforward. For a first-time install, most people are finished in about 3 to 5 hours. Having a second person around when unboxing and mounting the plow definitely helps.
By the way, is this just for your personal setup, or are you looking to make a few bucks plowing as well?

Hey Tom, how did things go getting the Meyer WingMan plow mounted on your 4x4? Did the Curt front hitch and wiring extension work out as expected? Your update could make it easier for others setting up the same plow.
