Troubleshooting Firman 7571 Generator that Won't Start and Flashing Red Light

Question:
I have friman T0 7571 6yrs old..... new never started never gas or propane hooked up until yesterday! Will not start on either, can spray carb cleaner into carb will fire up! Red light at start switch is flashing ! Took carb off checked,clean also checked solenoid it is working opposite of others pulls in when or switch cut onto gas and release when or swith is in off position!??? Any help? Thanks Bradley

Hey Bradley, I looked up what the flashing red light on your Firman 7571 generator means and here's what I found to try:
Charge/Replace battery: 12V 15ah.
Check oil level: Ensure it is full.
Fresh Gasoline: Drain old gas if it has sat for more than a month.
Check Spark Plug: Ensure it is not fouled.
Reset Procedure: Switch the fuel selector to OFF, wait for the light to stop flashing, and try again.
It can also be the carbon monoxide sensor as well.

Hey Bradley, did charging the battery or resetting the fuel selector get your Firman 7571 generator running? Knowing what fixed it could really help others with the same flashing red light issue.
