I have a 2005 dodge Dakota alt with an Extang cover that needs replacing. The rails are still good. On the rails the numbers 765 are wrote in paint. What replacement cover do I need.

Hey, Daniel!
Happy to help out! The number you gave me doesn't bring up anything to help ID what cover you have. Usually there is a patch on the tarp itself that will tell you what model it is. For example the Extang Trifecta 2.0 part # EX92760 will have the Trifecta patch that's shown in the picture below.
I can also ID what cover you have from the serial number along with the date code that's on the cover as well. The serial number will be on a white sticker on the rails that closest to the bulkhead and the date code will be on the passenger side of the cover a few inches in on the underside of the cover. I've included some pictures.

Hey Daniel, were you able to find the serial number and date code on your Extang cover? Once you have those, it should make it much easier to confirm which replacement tarp fits your Dakota. Your update could really help others trying to identify their covers too.
