Question:

I am having a teribble time connecting my new BrakeBuddy 3 model 38524 S/N 18660. I make sure the cables are connected correctly, and when I hit the start button I lose power and then a check the cables and it will recyle and I push the start button and I again lose power. Any answers to my problem?

Hey Robert, when a BrakBuddy is losing power and recycling often like what you described that usually means the 15 amp fuse is blown or there's something wrong with the 12 volt power wire circuit of the unit. Unscrew the end of the power plug and check the fuse and then form there check how the 12 volt power is connected.

The problem is in the cable to the brakebuddy. It is so loose it falls out.
