Can I replace my 205/75R15 tires with these 225s without rubbing my fenders? Great question, Alex. The ST225/75R15 is about 1inch taller and just under an inch wider than a 205/75R15, so you’ll lose roughly 1/2inch of fender clearance at the top and a bit on the inside. You’ll want at least 3inch above the tire and 1inch to the frame when loaded. If you’ve got that much room, the MXS39FR is a solid upgrade for extra load capacity and a smoother radial ride. Could you measure the space between your current tire and fender? That’ll confirm if it’s a clean fit.
