Question:
The unit wont pair with my 2021 Volvo XC40. I just get a c.E on the handheld. I followed all the instructions and if I connect everything the lights all work like they should but it just will not pair.

Hello John, thanks for reaching out. When you see the C.E on the handheld remote you should be able to depress both the manual override and boost button to progress to the next step of pairing. If this does not work, it could mean the unit is not detecting the connection with the trailer. Make sure the plug from the RF is fully seated in the 7-way. Also, check the pins on your vehicles 7-way for any rust or corrosion that could be causing a bad connection.
Did your Volvo come from the factory with a 7-way? Or is yours aftermarket?

Thanks for the reply Jesse! I figured it out and I have it all working now. I had to turn that dial on the side all the way down until it shows zero and then everything worked.
