Hello John, thanks for reaching out. Yes, the Hopkins Endurance 5th Wheel/Gooseneck 90-Degree Wiring Harness with 7-Pole Plug # 41157 can be used to connect a truck bed camper, as long as your camper also uses a standard 7-way plug.

This harness is a custom plug-in harness, and it will work great on a 2021 Ram 2500. The T-connector simply plugs into the factory wiring. Then you just need to find a mounting location in the bed for the plug and mount it using the included hardware.

Take a look at the video I linked. It will show you an example of installation.

What kind of camper do you have?

Thanks for the info Jesse. I have a 2008 Bigfoot 10.5 that we purchased about 10 years ago. the previous truck ('07 2500 Sierra HD) had a camper package so no issues. this one doesn't, so you can guess what my problem is. I tried with the Curt splitter with all kinds of problems. I'll give it a try with the Hopkins. For a fllow up question. would it be possible to take the recepticle off and run a 7 way female end into the camper? It's equipled with a male plug...

@JohnD You would want to plug the male plug on the camper into the female socket in the truck bed.
