Is the Lens of the Optronics Backup Light # BU11CS Glass or Plastic

Is the lens on this light glass or plastic. If plastic will it get too hot and melt if you leave it on, for several hours at a time, such as a driving light with a 1156 amber bulb, please get back ASAP so I can order two of these lights. Thankyou

The Optronics Backup Light, # BU11CS, has a polycarbonate lens. Since it uses an incandescent bulb, I do not recommend using this light as a driving light because an incandescent bulb will build up heat when left on and it is not rated or designed to be used as a driving light.
I recommend using actual driving lights like part # MT80637. These lights are similar in diameter and also comes with its own wiring harness.
