OEM-Looking Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2007 GMC Sierra New Body

Hey, I have a 2007 GMC Sierra 2500 HD new body it was not equipped with the factory GM trailer brake controller, but I have an available plug under the dash for said plug. I’m trying to figure out how to install a factory looking trailer brake controller into the factory plug instead of your standard run of the mill trailer brake controllers I am not a fan of them mounted under the dash I really hate how they look. I want functionality but also good looks as well. I want to look factory. What I’m hoping to do is get a factory AC Delco trailer brake controller and install it but that seems like more of a pain. Is there anything that you would recommend that is seamlessly installable and would look like factory when completed and also I would need to work with The curt gooseneck adapter plug that you guys sell on your website. Thank you very much.

Hey Christian, thanks for reaching out!
I've got 2 great options for you from Curt, and it all just depends on what style you'd like to go with.
The Spectrum # C25SV uses a standard knob to monitor and adjust the controller while the Echo Under-Dash # C47YV mounts under your dash and you use an app on your phone to monitor and adjust things. They both come with a wiring harness with loose wiring on the end that you'll use to connect to your OEM wiring (you should have a small bundle of wires as opposed to a plug).
I personally like the Echo Under-Dash more just because it means you have absolutely zero additions to anything visible inside your truck, but I understand the desire for the Spectrum where it kind of combines the old-school controller with a new-school look.
Which one would you rather get?
