Question:
Ive got a 2023 Silverado 2500HD duramax and am needing to hook up LED running lights for a truck bed camper. There is a 3 pin connector coming from camper. The truck has a 7 pin and a 4 pin flat connector at the rear of the truck. What is the best way for me to get these running lights hooked up in a neat way, if that is possible. Thank you in advance for any help you can provide.

Hey Doug. We don't have any 3-pin connectors so you'll first need to swap that connector out with a 4-way using the Hopkins Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector item # HM38168. The functions for the 4-way are listed below:
Green Right turn signal / brakes
Yellow Left turn signal / brakes
Brown Running lights / taillights
White Ground
If you do not want to go all the way down to the 4-way connector on your bumper. You can install the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness for Factory Tow Package item # C55384. This ties into your trailer wiring and allows you to install an additional 4-way connector in the bed of your truck.
What kind of in bed camper do you have? You can add this information and any other questions you have in the box below that says Reply to Jerred H.
