Question:
Picking up a 25 outback wilderness tomorrow and curious on the weather stripping part mentioned in the video. For T slot accessories do you just cut small squares of weather stripping and replace as close to where the mounts go or can you just drill a hole with the same size as the carriage bolts to keep it flush? My current vehicle Im replacing is 1/4inch t slot which I have 2 carriage bolts in each bar that the mount sits on and tightens Its a tent mount that my gazelle sits on

Hey Josh! I'm assuming you're talking about the Rhino-Rack Vortex Roof Rack # RR59XE for your 2025 Outback Wilderness. I don't know how well drilling will work but you can certainly try it. Personally, I would cut the strip around where you plan to install the bolts. Worst case if you mess it up you can always pick up some additional Vortex Strips # RRM626. If you need anything else feel free to reply below.
