Hey Richard! I've got a couple of options for you. The first is to swap out the factory 7-way connector on your 2022 F-150 with the Hopkins Endurance Multi-Tow 7-Way RV and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector w/ Bracket item # HM75MV. This will plug directly into your Ford's wiring harness. It has both a 4-way and 7-way connector.

You would then need to make a long enough 4-way plug to reach your bike rack using the 30 ft. Wishbone 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness with 30" Ground Wire item # A30WB and the Hopkins Endurance Quick-Fix Replacement 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector item # HM48190.

Another option, and the one I recommend, is to use the Hopkins 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector w/ 48" Harness item # HM48035 and splice into the tail light wiring of your trailer. Using a circuit tester like item # PTW2993 you would just have to find the correct functions and splice the harness in using the Self-Stripping Connector with Waterproof Sealant item # SWC501746-1.

What kind of trailer do you have?

So I’m going with the 7blade pin y and then a 7 blade pin to 4 adapter for one side of y and trailer 7 pin for the other. Because the plug on my truck has 2 plugs 12 pin and 7 pin I wouldn’t be able to do a swap cleanly. The Y works with out splicing much cleaner application. Weird you can get a 1ft extension but not just a plug with both 4 pin and 7 that plugs into A 7 pin. Thx Rick
