Replacement Trailer Wiring Harness for 2022 Volkswagen Atlas

Question:
It looks like the module for my tow kit on my Volkswagen Atlas has become faulty. I’ve checked all the wiring installed on my car. It looks like the constant draw is coming at the module, causing the right running light to stay on.

Hey Brian, yes it does sound like your trailer wiring module has shorted out like you suspected. They are designed to do this if they encounter a short in the trailer wiring so that it protects your vehicle wiring. The only solution is an all new trailer wiring harness like the Tekonsha part # 118754. I prefer the Tekonsha kits as they are generally the most reliable.
