Question:
Hello, I am looking for a weight distribution hitch I have a 2023 Honda pilot with a towing capacity of 5000 lbs and hitch capacity of 350. The trailer Im going to tow has a dry weight on the hitch of 390 and dry weight of the trailer is 2831 with gvaw of 3900. Looking for a suggestion or two and would like to be under $600.00. Thanks, Joel

Hey Joel, in your price range we really only have one weight distribution system that is rated correctly for your trailer's listed weights and that would be the Reese Round Bar part # RE34FR. This easily fits your price range but everything else is over that number. The next closest option is the Reese Steadiflex part # RP66558 which is rated for same weight but has a more advanced friction sway control build into the head. In my opinion the # RE34FR is best value and your best option.

Hey Joel, did you decide to go with the Reese Round Bar hitch, or did you consider the Reese Steadiflex for its sway control features? I'm curious to know how it worked out for you, as it could help others in a similar situation.
