Question:
Replacement Custom Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connectors Part Number: 30955 Is there any reason I cant use both the 4 way and 7 way plugs at the same time? I tow a 2018 Silverado 1500 behind a 2018 Tiffin Allegro Bus. The way the wiring on the truck is set up it kills the 4 way on the back of the truck. When I have covered bikes on the back of the truck the tail lights are not readily visible. If I can use both plugs, I will run a harness from the 4 way to light on the bike rack.

No, there is not! You can definitely use both connectors at the same time with the Replacement Custom Multi-Tow 7-Way and 4-Way Trailer Connectors item # 30955.
The longest 4-way extension we have is the 120" long Hopkins 4-Pole Flat Wiring Extension item # HM48235 so you'd two. Or you can make your own using the Quick Fix (TM) 4 Pole Flat Car and Trailer Ends item # 48195 and the 35 Ft 4-Way Trailer Wiring Harness item # A35W42B.

Hey, did you have a chance to set up the wiring for your bike rack using both connectors? I’d love to hear how it worked out, as it could help others looking to improve their trailer lighting setup.
