Is the Go Power Portable Solar Kit Designed to be Wired to Other Solar Controller

Question:
I have a question about Go Power Portable Solar Panel with Digital Solar Controller - 200 Watt Solar Panel Part Number: 34282610. Do they come with a y cable or a way to daisy chain them so I can connect two panels to my solar input on the side of my trailer? I have a 200 w solar panel on my roof and go power gp-sb-pwm-bt-30 controller inside my trailer. I want to add two more 200 watt portable panels to the side port of my trailer. My internal go power controller can handle up to 600 w 3 200 w go power panels but if each portable panel has a controller of its own is that still a limitation. I was led to believe by a go power employee that the side solar goes through the internal go power controller. Is this true? if so why does the portable come with its own controller? Thank you.

Hey Todd, since the Go Power Portable Solar Panel with Digital Solar Controller # 34282610 has it's own controller built in you would want to run this directly to your battery via the port you mentioned and would not want to try and integrate this into the system before your current controller. The great thing about DC power is that as many 12 volt inputs as you want to run on the battery will work fine so having the output of multiple controllers connected to the battery will just provide a better charge.

Hey Todd, did connecting the Go Power Portable Solar Panel directly to your battery work out for you? I'm curious to know if this setup provided the better charge you were looking for.
