Availability of Passenger Side Command Electronics LED Trailer Tail Light

Hey David! The lights are technically discontinued which is why you aren't seeing the passenger side (003-81BM1) equivalent for the # 328-003-81LBM1. There may be stock out there but ours is sold out with only the driver side remaining. If you don't mind the license plate light shining down you could certainly cut off the tabs and put one of these on both sides.

There are also no hardware kits made specifically for this light. Like other trailer lights, they let you decide what hardware is best for your application. Are you replacing the same design from the old incandescent light? If so, you can reuse the hardware. It is designed to be surface mounted but there is no gasket. If you want to have some kind of seal on the back I would just add a little sealant around the edges like we did in the installation video below.

Hey David, how did things go with the LED tail light on your JayFeather trailer? Did cutting off the tabs and sealing the edges give you the look and fit you wanted? Your update could make it easier for others replacing similar lights.

@RobinH Hi Robin, Unfortunately, I did not get a chance to try this out. Too much else going on--and with camping season over, it'll have to wait til Spring. I did a temp fix by sealing where the current tail light had warped away from the camper wall. I'm convinced what I see on etrailer will fit--and will remove the license plate tabs to make it look original. Thanks for following up. Appreciate it very much. Regards, Dave
