Does Trailer Wiring for 2012 Lincoln MKZ Turn Off Back Up Sensors

Question:
I have a 2012 Lincoln MKZ Hybrid and would like to install a hitch for my bike rack. Do the wiring kits provide for disabling the backup warning when a tester/simulator is plugged in?

Hey Douglas, the trailer wiring kits that fit your 2012 Lincoln MKZ like the part # 46255 do not have ability to shut off any backup sensors or anything like that. If there's a trailer wiring option for your vehicle that does that it would have to be from a Lincoln dealer.
