Hey Rich, I really like the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty part # RED96CR that comes with a custom fit install harness for your 2003 Ford F-150. This controller only puts a small knob on the dash of your truck and uses an inertia sensor to determine how hard you are applying the truck brakes and applies a proportional mount of braking to your trailer brakes. You'd only need that single part number too as it comes with everything you'd need to install.

Hey Rich, how did the Redarc Tow Pro Liberty work out on your F-150? It sounds like a clean setup with that small dash knob. Your feedback could really help others choosing a brake controller for similar trucks.
