Can Trailer 4-Way Be Used for Tow Bar Wiring

If my towed vehicle has a 4 way trailer connector already pre-wired, can that be used for the brake, taillights and turn signal connection to the RV? Thanks for your help

Hi Gary; the trailer wiring on your 2001 Jeep Cherokee cannot be used as part of your flat tow setup. You will need separate wiring like the Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-15267 to connect to your RV.
