Can the Snowsport Utility Plow be Used with a Grille Guard Installed

Question:
I have an 07 F150 Supercrew with a metal grille guard on the front. Is it still possible to attach and use the Snowsport Utility Plow with the grille guard on? Thanks

You may be able to use the SnowSport HD Utility Plow, item # A40000HD, with a grille guard but I cannot be absolutely sure. I spoke with my contact at Agri-Cover and there are issues with some plows and trucks with grille guards depending on the width and the amount that the guard sticks out. I asked for a specific measurement for clearance of the plow and was told that the plow usually has about 6 inches of clearance to the front bumper. You would also need to keep in mind that when the plow is angled one side of the plow would be closer to the front bumper at that time.
If you need a front mount hitch for your 2007 F-150 I have provided a link below. I would recommend the Draw-Tite Front Mount Trailer Hitch Receiver, item # 65043, which is a no drill installation and can be mounted in either of two height settings to work well with the snow plow you are considering.
